Via Crucis between Chianche, Petruro Irpino and Torrioni

On 18 April 2025, the villages of Chianche, Petruro Irpino and Torrioni will be the protagonists of a touching and spiritually rich event: the "Via Crucis '25 - The Passion of the Living Christ". The initiative, promoted by the Pro Loco "Lapis" of Petruro Irpino, "Planca" of Chianche, and with the participation of the Generidea ODV association of Torrioni, the Youth Group of Petruro Irpino and the Youth Forum of Torrioni, will take place under the patronage of the three Municipalities involved.

The event will begin at 6.00 pm and will offer a unique experience of community reflection and participation. Participants will symbolically walk the 14 stations of the Passion of Christ in an evocative journey shared between the three countries. The route will be divided as follows from the first to the fourth station in Chianche; from the fifth to the eighth station in Petruro Irpino and from the ninth to the fourteenth station in Torrioni.

To facilitate participation, a free shuttle service will be active, which will connect the various locations of the event, guaranteeing a smooth and accessible experience for everyone.

The initiative is proposed not only as a religious celebration, but also as an opportunity to rediscover the cultural and spiritual roots of the area, enhancing the commitment of young people and local associations. A moment of intense collective participation, which unites faith, tradition and community in a single voice.
