DISTRETTO 4

District 4 coincides with the four municipalities of the geographical area of Partenio.   
The territory is historically linked to agriculture with varied typical products and has a rich food tradition. In the hilly areas we find olive groves, whose fruits are transformed into extra virgin olive oil in the mills that are still present. In the underwood there are mushrooms, asparaguses, and the valuable black truffle of Partenio. Also viticulture and the production of excellent wines are to be noted.   
An itinerary that lives of the different and complementary elements of those places: the traditional production of the "cupeto" of Ospedaletto d’Alpinolo, the agronomic tradition of the chestnut of Summonte, the nature trails of Sant'angelo a Scala and the remains of the Lombard Castle of Pietrastornina.
