Aiello del Sabato, "Cover Poetry Slam" competition

The "Cover Poetry Slam" event will be held on Sunday 6 April at 9:00 pm at the "Madre Teresa di Calcutta" Theatre in Aiello del Sabato.

Poetry Slam is a performance poetry competition in which performers compete against each other by declaiming their texts using only their body and voice (costumes, props and musical accompaniment are not allowed).

In the "Cover" formula, each poet/performer must choose a living or dead poet/poetess and perform on his/her texts (without revealing the name of the chosen poet/poetess to the public).

It will be possible to perform the chosen poet/poetess also in the original language (without the possibility of translating), but, in this case, the performer will have more time for introduction (1 minute), to be able to explain the content of the poem that he/she will perform.
Each performer will have only 3 minutes to recite one or more poems and then be voted on by the public.

The evening will have an entrance fee of 10 euros, 2 of which will be donated to Telethon.
