On Monday 24 March Scampitella is preparing to relive one of its most heartfelt traditions: the Bonfire of San Giuseppe. The event will take place at the former primary schools, located in Via Piave, and promises to offer an evening full of atmosphere, music and authentic flavours.
The program includes the lighting of the bonfire at 7.00 pm, marking the official start of the party. The gastronomic aspect will not be missing, with the opening of stands offering local specialties.
Participants will be able to taste typical dishes such as fried pork, sandwiches and the famous caciocavallo impiccato, a traditional Irpinian delicacy. The evening will be enlivened by good music, helping to create an atmosphere of celebration and conviviality.
