Palace of the Brothers Rocco and Domenico Cocchia is a historical building located in Cesinali, in Via San Rocco, near Sabino Cocchia Palace.
Built towards the end of the 18th century and renovated after the earthquake of 23 November 1980, the Palace owes its importance to the fact that it was the birthplace of the brothers Rocco and Domenico Cocchia, as a commemorative stone plaque on the façade recalls. Both were important religious figures: the former bishop of Chieti, the latter bishop of Otranto, Ascoli and Cerignola.
The Palace of the Brothers Rocco e Domenico Cocchia is surrounded by a vast garden, criss-crossed by tree-lined avenues and filled with fountains and marble statues. At the centre of the main façade is a tall stone portal, carved with a coat of arms on the keystone. Next to the entrance is the memorial stone plaque in honour of the two brothers, which bears the following words:
«Here they were born
And the name of this land
they made illustrious throughout the world
The brothers
