The DMO, Destination Management Organisation, is an organizational model for the management of tourist destinations aimed at strengthening the services and resources of the various territorial identities. In line with the Campania Region, which is responsible for reorganizing the entire regional tourism system, the tourism expert technicians have defined the territorial boundaries of the "Dmo Welcome Irpinia" and outlined a first strategic action inviting the municipalities to take a look at the ambitious project idea , everything starts from the bottom and the energetic initiative tends to pull the political side towards itself. There are around 70 municipalities in the geographical area which fall within Lower Irpinia, Parthenio Park but also by joining they would constitute a real functional organism which aims at tourism development and the positioning of the destination in the tourism market in a serious, organized and systematic way. In-depth meetings will be organized in April . Leading the promotional committee of the DMO Welcome Irpinia is Dr. Nelly Russo, who has been working for several years at the tourist office of the Municipality of Avella, whose administration immediately started the establishment process and can already count on the participation of many other municipalities and entities that pay attention to this first phase which provides for an interinstitutional memorandum of understanding.

On May 29th, in Montefalcione, in Via Cardinal Dell'Olio Confraternita, at 6.00 pm the cycle of meetings towards an inclusive and sustainable governance model will begin.
