"The Savignanese Carnival": the tradition is renewed with floats and masks

The explosion of colors that the Carnival manages to offer enters the scene in Savignano Irpino with "Il Carnevale Savignanese", now in its 13th edition. Tradition, thus, is renewed in the town of Valle del Cervaro. The protagonists will be the allegorical floats and masks of various types, all created with the skilful work of local people. Popular dances, music (the "Boomerang Orkestra" will cheer up the day) and tasting of typical products, another attraction will be the breaking of the piñatas. The initiative will live from a healthy spirit of competition, in fact there will be awards for individual creations and groups. The appointment is scheduled for Sunday February 18th with the party starting from 3.00 pm. Originally it should have been held on Saturday 10 February but it was postponed due to adverse weather conditions.
