The Fontana del Piano, also known as the "Fontana dei Tarantini", is a fountain located in Teora, in the area of the same name on the outskirts of Largo Europa.
The structure is impressive and has a rectangular front façade divided into three areas by clustered columns, surmounted by the coat of arms of the Municipality of Teora. The Fountain has three wall-mounted basins to collect the water coming out of five stone mascarons. In the back area, used as a wash house, two commemorative stone plaques are embedded in the walls. The oldest stone plaque in Teora is located on the left portico and dates back to 1728; it reads "Refectus", indicating a thorough restoration.
An emblematic monument of the local community, the Fontana del Piano has resisted the inexorable passing of time for centuries.
