On Friday 25 October 2024, the listening tables of the local tourism sector will begin in Calitri as part of the “Villages, Health and Wellbeing” project, promoted by the Campania Region and SCABEC through the National Tourism Fund.
The meetings aim to collect ideas and operational proposals for the tourism development of the nineteen municipalities that have joined the BSB ‘Cammini d’irpinia’ network: Calitri (as leader) Andretta, Aquilonia, Bisaccia, Cairano, Calabritto, Caposele, Guardia Lombardi, Lacedonia, Lioni, Monteverde, Morra De Sanctis, Rocca San Felice, Sant’Andrea di Conza, Sant’Angelo dei Lombardi, Senerchia, Teora, Torella dei Lombardi, Villamaina.
Tour operators, local tourist boards, trade associations, third sector entities, accommodation facilities, agri-food and restaurant businesses are invited to participate, to suggest concrete actions to be implemented and share strategies that strengthen the local tourism sector.

The meetings are part of a broader strategy that aims to consolidate the tourism potential of the regional territory by creating a collaboration model that aims to rebalance the socio-economic development between the coastal strip and the hinterland.
Among the activities planned, in addition to the listening tables, there are territorial analyses, fact-finding surveys, feasibility studies and a strategic-operational plan curated by Mediateur.
