The Municipality of Montoro, with the patronage of the Campania Region and the Province of Avellino, presents the "Celebrations of the 10th Anniversary of the Reunification of the City of Montoro".
On 3 December 2013, the municipality of Montoro was born from the union of Montoro Superiore and Montoro Inferiore. To commemorate this date, two special initiatives were organised.
The first appointment will be the "Exhibition of Philately, Marcophilia, Postal and Documentary History", with the presence of a Temporary Philatelic Service of the Italian Post Office and a special stamp to celebrate the event. Each visitor will be able to collect a free copy of the celebratory postcard created for the occasion complete with special stamp (while supplies last).
The exhibition will be held at the Palazzo dell'Annunziata, in Piazza Michele Pironti - Fraz. Piano, from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm.
Subsequently, at 5.00 pm, the Awarding and Recognition Ceremony of the Certificates will take place at the Santa Maria degli Angeli Monumental Complex, Fraz. Torchiati.
