Ariano Irpino, "The Beggars' Union" on stage

Second appointment of the "Be Different" program of the "La Fermata" Company of Ariano Irpino, now in its third theater season. Saturday, January 25 at 7:00 p.m., in the city of Tricolle, at the "Lina Wertmüller" Municipal Auditorium, "Il Sindacato dei Mendicanti" will be performed, a "La Fabbrica degli Specchi" production (Compagnia di Benevento). Society is a system of rules. Wherever there are rules, a society is born. For better or for worse. The lack of rules generates chaos, chaos generates instability. Everyone has the right to be a society and to renounce being chaos. A group of beggars, led by Tonino, more or less reason this way and decide to give themselves some rules: they establish a minimum ceiling on the alms to accept, for example. But as in all self-respecting societies, chaos is always lurking around the corner and, even in this case, it doesn't take long to arrive. A comedy that jokes about serious topics, like all great comedies that respect themselves, combining sympathy, reflection and irony.
