On the occasion of the national day for the prevention of accidents typical of the winter season, the "Safe with Snow 2024" event will be held. Two locations were chosen in Campania: the Laceno Plateau in Bagnoli Irpino and Bocca della Selva in Piedimonte Matese (Ce). Appointment for Sunday 21 January from 9.00 to 12.00.
With the organization of the Alpine and Speleological Rescue of Campania we will focus, in relation to the thematic stations, on how to face and prepare a winter excursion, manage an accident, alert and facilitate rescue. As part of the practical activities, there is space for using the "Georesq" app, "Artv", and sending alarm and position requests from mobile devices. Furthermore there will be a conference entitled "Prevention and rescue in harsh environments during the winter season". An important opportunity, in Alta Irpinia, to avoid the risks linked to the dangerousness of the mountains in the coldest period of the year.
