The "Late May Day" returns for its third edition on June 14th, organized by "Il Forum dei Giovani" of Calitri and by the specially established Committee, under the patronage of the Municipality of Calitri.
The Delayed May Day has the privilege of coming to life in the picturesque Borgo Irpino, in a green area in the center, the Arena Madonnelle, 3000m2 at the complete disposal of the festival. An area brought back to its splendor to make it the perfect stage to celebrate music and culture.
Declaredly inspired by the concerts of Rome and Taranto
However, it is staged about a month apart from them so as not to overlap and in an attempt to become over time a point of reference, musical and otherwise, for the internal areas of the country.
A huge concert that runs from afternoon to late at night: more than 10 hours of music. A festival that sees a succession of different artists and genres to bring to Alta Irpinia a musical concept far from those offered by the area.
From 4pm you can enjoy a happy hour with the El Caribe DJ set that will make you rock out to the rhythm of the music, followed by the Arena Madonnelle which will continue to heat up with a succession of exceptional artists.
Artists from different areas of Italy will take to the stage of Primo Maggio in Ritardo III, creating a true musical kaleidoscope that reflects the richness and variety of the national artistic panorama: Gabriele Esposito with Band, Tartaglia Aneuro full band, Anema and Core Duo, Banda della Posta, Belly Button and the wave choir, El Caribe, Folska, Gedem, The pains of young walter, Livio and Manfredi – uranio irpino, Modna, Pianoterra, The recoveries and many others.
In addition to music, May Day in Late 2024 will also be an opportunity to reflect on social and environmental issues of great importance. The dear topics covered during PMIR3 will concern environmental protection, the fight against inequalities, work, Irpinia and internal areas.
