Tufo Greco Festival

The Tufo Greco Festival is a food and wine event that takes place in Tufo in September.

Dedicated to showcasing one of the local speciality products, Greco di Tufo DOCG wine, over time, the event has become one of the most eagerly anticipated events in Campania. The festival is organised thanks to the active participation of the municipal administration, in synergy with the wineries of the Terre di Tufo Consortium and the support of nationally renowned specialist partners such as Slow Food, Sommelier Avellino, and ONAV (the national wine-tasters organisation); it is also one of the events funded by the Campania Region.

Thanks to its wide range of food, wine, and art, the Tufo Greco Festival is not only a point of reference for promoting and showcasing a typically Irpinian white wine, but is also huge tourist attraction in Campania. The event comes to life in the streets of the characteristic village, accompanied by numerous complementary activities, such as workshops, winery visits, theatrical tours, wine trekking, and live concerts.

One of the most well-attended and covered summer events in Irpinia, the Tufo Greco Festival is a rousing kaleidoscope of flavours, emotions, and music.
