The former Church of Jesus and Mary, also known as the "Church of the Rocchettine", is located in Lauro, near Pignatelli Palace.
Together with the former 19th-century Convent of the Santissima Trinità (Holy Trinity), it forms a single complex that has recently been restored and returned to the community. The Church, the three floors of the monastery, the kitchens in front of the hall and the circular frame of the cupola date back to the 15th and 16th centuries, while much of the complex in its current configuration is of 17th-century origin.
The Church is characterised by a very simple and unadorned style, with a gabled façade and a portal in grey tuff. It is known, however, for housing a valuable painting by Angelo Mozzillo, depicting Saint Augustine and Saint Scholastica.
Once the site of important religious rituals, the former Church is now managed by the municipal administration and used for concerts and shows.
