The Monument to the Pilgrim is located on Piazza Partenio in Ospedaletto d'Alpinolo.
Designed by Prof. Fernando Luca Vignatelli, an abbot from Montevergine, the Monument to the Pilgrim consists of a sculptural group of somewhat recent construction, created by sculptors and stonemasons from Fontanarosa. It depicts the scene of a pilgrimage with devotees on their way to the Sanctuary of Montevergine. The statuary group is made up of five wayfarers, ordinary people with modest clothing and of different ages.
Along with the Triton Fountain, the Monument to the Pilgrim is a symbol of the Ospedaletto d'Alpinolo community.
