The Clock Tower in Rotondi is located on Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, at the junction with Via Annunziata, near the Church of the Santissima Annunziata.
Built in the 17th century using well-worked local stone, the tower rises above the surrounding village centre. Its white and reddish purple plaster is particularly distinctive, making it unique and visible from almost every corner of the Irpinian town. The way it is perfectly flush with the building it stands against is also unusual.
Additionally, there is a stone plaque dating back to about a century ago on the lower part of the Tower, on which the names of the inhabitants of Rotondi who fell during the First World War are engraved.
A monument very dear to the local community, the Clock Tower is the historical and cultural symbol of Rotondi.
