Friday 21 March, at the L.Cassese Library in Atripalda, Rino Cillo presents his work "The Founder", a volume that tells the story of Guilielmus, saint, pilgrim and hermit.
Guilielmus, patron saint of Irpinia, founded the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Montevergine, his pastoral action contributed to spreading the evangelical message in the countryside, thanks to his liturgical sensitivity he left as a legacy new profound and original interpretations of the Christian cult.
His figure, between mystery and sacredness, represents an example of faith and dedication, far from the clamor, but destined to leave an indelible mark on history.
The meeting will be opened by the Councilor for Culture and Tourism of Atripalda Lello Barbarisi, the author Rino Cillo, a former police officer and passionate about history, archaeology and music, has decided to tell this ancient story, little known but strongly linked to his homeland.
The appointment is set for 5:00 pm in Via Sparavigna 1.
