In Calabritto the traditional Bonfire of San Giuseppe

On March 19, Calabritto will experience the traditional appointment with the lighting of the Bonfire of San Giuseppe, a celebration that unites the sacred with the profane. In peasant culture, the lighting of the bonfire symbolizes the passage from winter to spring, bringing with it a wish for prosperity.

For the occasion, religious moments will be combined to celebrate the Saint and convivial moments for the entire community, all in the Piazzale della Chiesa di Calabritto.

Tasting points will be set up, with products such as zeppole and local wine, and there will be folk sounds and songs.
