The winter concert series 'Innamorati della Musica' of the Igor Stravinsky Association of Avellino continues, under the artistic direction of pianist Nadia Testa.
Paganini, the violin and virtuosity are the protagonists of the concert that the award-winning violinist Oleksandr Pushkarenko will hold on Saturday 17 February, at 6.00 pm, at the Sala delle Arti in Manocalzati.

Winner of the 55th edition of the 'Paganini Prize' International Competition in Genoa, Oleksandr will perform in the 'Paganiniana' recital.

Composer, recording artist, he is famous for his creative creed which defines the 'Paganinian Vector' - continuation of the traditions of the Genoese schools of violin and composition, started by Niccolò Paganini which represents a particular direction in the world of contemporary violin.

He began studying the violin and piano at an early age and also took composition lessons. He began performing in public as a violinist at just 7 years old, at 11 he made his debut as a soloist with M. Bruch's Concerto No. 1 at the Kultur Casino in Bern (Switzerland) accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine. At the age of 12 he performed the great tour as a soloist, playing the Concerto in E minor by F. Mendelssohn-Bartholdy accompanied by the same Orchestra.

He graduated in violin from the 1st level Academic Course and the 2nd level Specialized Two-Year Academic Course at the 'Niccolò Paganini' Conservatory in Genoa with full marks, honors and an Honorable Mention. Among his violin teachers Mario Trabucco and Roberto Sechi. In 2012 he entered the masterclass of violinist Salvatore Accardo at the W. Stauffer Academy in Cremona.

In 2018 he entered the violinist Massimo Quarta's masterclass at the Accademia Genova Musica.
