The first snowfall gave way to snowshoeing and winter activities in the mountains of Irpinia. On Saturday 27 January there will be, among others, snowshoeing on the Verteglia plateau. The meeting is scheduled for 9.30 am at the "La Faja" restaurant in Montella. The sporting-naturalistic event, organized by A.S.D. IrpiniAvventura will continue until 2.30 pm.
It will be an excursion among the unique environments of Campania and precisely in the heart of the Picentini Park. Following a suggestive path you will cross the Verteglia Plain, towards Monte Sassosano, heading towards Belvedere della Foa. A journey in an unusually silent and fascinating environment in which nature, history and panoramas come together admirably to give unique emotions.

Winter trekking shoes or snow boots required

- The excursion will take place upon reaching a minimum of 10 people.
- CONI qualified companions
- The route is suitable for children aged 10 and over who are trained and have a good predisposition for walking and life in the open air and are in good physical condition
- The activities can only be carried out by becoming Irpiniavventura members or members
- If the excursion requires, for safety and security purposes, the need for particular clothing or technical equipment, including footwear, the Guide reserves the right to decide whether one or more participants can participate in the excursion or not
