During the weekend of the Italian Formula One Grand Prix in Monza, the Italian driver Riccardo Patrese, world vice champion in 1992, is the guest of honor in Castelvetere sul Calore.
On the same weekend as the Italian Formula One Grand Prix, the event scheduled for 6.30pm in Piazza Monumento celebrates in Irpinia the extraordinary career of the Italian driver with the record of 256 Grands Prix contested from 1977 to 1993 and vice champion world championship in 1992.
If the testimony of Riccardo Patrese constitutes the central moment of the meeting, the "Sport Stories" of Castelvetere sul Calore will also open up to other disciplines and to football in particular thanks to the presence of great protagonists of sports journalism, such as Massimo Corcione, already director of Sky Sport and Sergio Troise, former editor-in-chief of Il Mattino.
Also speaking at the meeting will be Francesco De Beaumont, Italian Historic Car Champion, Judge at the Court of Appeal of the International Powerboat Union and former Judge of the F.I.A. Court of Appeal, Enzo De Vito, official FIAT driver from 1979 to 1980 and Enrico Cataldo, Mayor of Castelvetere sul Calore.
The meeting will be moderated by Salvatore Tarantino, curator of the social collective Automobilismo Irpino and author of the book "Circuiti Verdi Assi del Volante 1928-1992".
