The Festival of Wine, Ham and Lamb is a food and wine event held in Venticano in September.
This event has been in vogue for over forty years and is part of the "Summer in Venticano" programme. It is organised by the Pro Loco of Venticano in Piazza Monumento ai Caduti. It is a much-awaited appointment for the entire community of the Media Valle del Calore, offering a menu that praises local dishes and products, the protagonists of the food and wine festival.
Over the years, the Festival of Wine, Ham and Lamb has enjoyed an increasing number of visitors. Its evenings are characterised by the preparation of dishes that celebrate taste and healthy eating, emphasising the flavours of the cuisine of the past, accompanied by excellent local wine. This great food and wine feast is crowned by music, dancing and entertainment of various kinds, involving adults and children in creating an atmosphere of healthy and genuine conviviality.
The festival is an authentic moment of aggregation, as well as tasting, which succeeds in the main purpose of enhancing the good things the community of Venticano and the entire Calore Valley has to offer.
