The Church of the Immacolata Concezione (Immaculate Conception) in Santo Stefano del Sole, also known as the "Church of San Giovanni Battista” (Saint John the Baptist), is located on Piazza del Sole, not far from the Mother Church dedicated to the patron saint.
The religious building's architrave shows the date 1713, but its construction dates back to 1590. Nowadays the Church has a single-nave structure. There is only one altar inside, located in front of the entrance door, above which is a depiction of the Virgin and Child, Saint John the Baptist, and Saint John the Evangelist.
Together with the aforementioned Church of Santo Stefano (Saint Stephen), this place of worship is the religious symbol of the local community and the square where it stands.
