The Mother Church of San Domenico was built in the 18th century in Sant'Andre di Conza and was subsequently the subject of various restoration works.
The religious building, which opens onto a small square on which many characteristic buildings protrude, is literally suffocated by them, as can be seen from the bell tower of the Mother Church which overlooks the roofs of the surrounding buildings.
The plaque on the facade of the Mother Church of San Domenico is made up of three bodies, two rectangular at the ends, one of which bears the date of 1706, and a central one which speaks of the Archbishop "CAETANVS CARACCIOLVS", which dates back to the end of the 17th century.
Inside, the Church has three naves where various works of art are preserved.
On the façade, of a deep yellow colour, a plaque composed of three distinct portions stands out: on the far right, there is a stone coat of arms on which we were able to read "IOAN CILB SIM", on the far left, there is another stone coat of arms on which the writing "A.D. 1716" is written, in the centre, there is a block of stone on which we read: "HIC CAETANVS CARACCIOLVS ARCHIEPISCOPVS COMPSANVS BAROHV TERRE P LAPIDEM BENE" DIXIT POSVIT AD MDCLXXXV".
