Caracciolo Palace of Forino is a place of historical interest located in Via Roma, in the historic centre of the town.

The noble building has uncertain origins. It is known, however, with certainty that in the 16th century it assumed its current appearance and that in the 18th century it was enlarged. With the subversion of feudalism in 1806, the Palace served as the Town Hall of Forino until 1876, when it became a school and municipal library.

Only a few elements remain of the ancient structure of Caracciolo Palace today, such as the main front, two of the four gates that enclosed the so-called "Body of Forino" (which allows access from Largo Ponte) and the park. In some of the rooms of this palace, managed by the Pro Loco Forino, there are exhibitions, such as one of the sacred vestments and one of handicrafts, and every year, at Christmas time, the whole area is animated with the preparation of the scenes of the Living Nativity.

A historical symbol of the local community, Caracciolo Palace bears witness to the influence of the noble family on the historical and cultural heritage of Forino.
