District 8 coincides with the five municipalities of the geographical area of the middle valley of the Sabato river. The area as a whole is particularly interesting for the presence of cultural, historical-artistic heritage and excellent agronomic crops.
An itinerary that crosses the medieval village of Chianche, the early Christian Basilica of Maria Ss. dell'Annunziata (Holy Mary of the Annunciation) of Prata Principato Ultra, the stone megalithic structures of Pratola Serra, the Dolmen, the traditional tastes of Torrioni, and the former sulphur mines of Tufo whose mining component stands out in the Greco di Tufo DOCG wine, which is the common thread of these places.
