Caposele, Sacred representation of the Via Crucis

As per tradition, also for Easter 2025, Caposele will be the setting for the "Via Crucis" which will retrace, with the stations represented, the last path towards the Calvary of Our Lord.

The event, which will start from the churchyard of the Mother Church in Piazza Di Masi will involve the community in a moment of intense reflection and faith.

The performance, curated by the Amateur Theater Company "La Forgia - Officina Culturale", will see the meditations of the stations entrusted to the "hopes" of the community, who will share their reflections on the moments of difficulty, the wounds, the pains and the gifts that life presents to us.

This year's theme, "Sources of Hope", refers to the symbolic element of water, fundamental for Caposele, and fits fully into the Jubilee context, making the Via Crucis an opportunity for spiritual and community rediscovery.
The Holy Father Francis has in fact established the Jubilee of Hope for 2025.
"Everyone hopes. In the heart of every person there is hope as a desire and expectation of good, even without knowing what tomorrow will bring", writes Pope Francis in the Bull of Indiction, "Spes non confundit" (Hope does not disappoint), of the Jubilee.
Hope is the theme, the message and the direction that the Pope wants to entrust to the Church and the people of God during this Jubilee. 
And "the hope that does not disappoint", which will be expressed in various aspects, wants to be the theme of the Via Crucis, because once again it will be the Cross that will guide the hopes of the community of Caposele.
