"Frigentinità" is a project promoted by the Pro Loco Frigentina and which aims to give visibility to the typical products of Frigento through 5 events, one for each typical product.
The first event, already sold out, will have as protagonists the pecorino carmasciano, caciocavallo, caprino and cow's milk cheeses, and will be held on October 26 at the "Mulino della Signora" restaurant starting at 6:00 pm.
A unique sensory and cultural experience, a tasting full of ideas and educational content together with the members of the Avellino delegation of ONAF, National Association of Cheese Tasters, which will precede a themed dinner.
During the dinner the cheeses will become protagonists of typical recipes of the local cuisine, highlighting the versatility and importance of these products in the culinary tradition of Frigento.
Frigentinità is not just a food festival, but a real territorial promotion project, aimed at giving visibility and value to the typical products of the municipality, helping to raise awareness of the deep connection between the territory and local production. Thanks to these events, Frigento becomes a point of reference for the rediscovery of traditions, strengthening the bond with its cultural and rural identity.
After the cheeses, other local excellences will be the protagonists, in a journey that intends to tell and make you fully experience the food and wine experience of Frigento.
