Jazz&Wine

Jazz&Wine is a musical food and wine event that takes place in Caposele, in August, near the ancient bell tower and the cellars of the village of Saure.

A perfect combination of tastings, aperitifs and excellent jazz, the event is organised by MusicalMente, a cultural association that aims to promote the study, practice and understanding, both collectively and individually, of music in the Caposele community. The protagonist of the last edition of the festival, in 2019, was Enrico Rava, one of the greatest Italian jazz musicians of all time and world-famous for his very rich musical repertoire.

Over time, Jazz&Wine has succeeded in realising its intention to continue the positive tradition of the first music festival that started in the late 1980s, known as "Caposele Jazz". Today, the event aims to celebrate the extraordinary link between elegant musical sounds and typical local products, including sliced meats and salami and the traditional Caposele muffletti (a type of fresh bread made with flour and potatoes). All of this is accompanied by tastings of fine wines, with ad hoc tours organised by professionals.

An annual appointment in one of the most picturesque villages in Irpinia, Jazz&Wine offers all lovers of music and local specialities an unforgettable evening.
