The Church of Sant'Antonio (Saint Anthony) in Bonito, with an adjoining former convent, is a place of worship located in Via Roma.

The construction of the convent complex began in 1712 and originally consisted only of a dormitory and a small chapel for religious services. Further refinement of the structure continued the following year, thanks to contributions from the Franciscans and the faithful, and it was used mainly as an infirmary. The convent was only completed towards the end of the 18th century and, from 1839 to 1849, the Church of Sant'Antonio was used as a cemetery. The whole structure has been considerably affected by several earthquakes over the centuries, the last of which, on 23 November 1980, particularly affected the Church, which was almost entirely destroyed and subsequently restored.

Today, the Church and the convent form a single structure, although the former is administered by the ecclesiastical authority, while the latter has become the property of the municipality following some legislative measures. The Church of Sant'Antonio has a single nave and there are four ditches on the four sides closed by large stones that were used for burial a few centuries ago. Inside, there are works of historical and religious interest, such as a crucifix dating from 1799, statues of various saints and a pipe organ built in 1828 by the Mastrilli brothers of Monteverde.

Among the most beautiful and majestic artistic-religious works in Bonito, the monastery complex contributes to the enrichment of the cultural heritage of the Irpinian town.
