On September 29th the "Andretta literary" event returns, with the presentation of the book "La Prima Madre" by the Irpinian writer Pasquale Gallicchio.
An all-female work written to address the most important issues related to the world of women. The protagonists are a young Jewish woman who represents the dramatic tragedy of the Shoah and therefore the historical memory to be recovered, three students whose stories will intertwine with the young Jewish woman through a diary found in the State Archives of Avellino, and a professor retired. The three students embody three different life experiences: one from Irpinia struggling with the depopulation of small towns; a Neapolitan woman who finds herself facing a case of violence against her mother by her father; an immigrant with everything that integration entails. The teacher is the character who unites, capable of being a guide for the young students. A strong feeling of solidarity characterizes and runs through the five stories.
