The Church of Saints Domenico and Francesco is a church located in the Municipality of Sturno, near Grella Baronial Palace.
The first parish church of the Sturno community, it was built thanks to the donations of Prince Domenico Caracciolo, who transformed his wheat warehouse into a temple, and was elevated to parish in 1714, with an official document dated 18 March 1707, signed by Cardinal Vincenzo Maria Orsini, Archbishop of the Holy Church of Benevento. The old building, dating back to the end of the 17th century, was demolished to accommodate the current structure with nave and two aisles, which has also undergone renovations in recent times.
Inside the Church, there are remarkable wooden sacred works depicting Saints, two valuable paintings depicting The Annunciation and Saint Anne, but the main work is undoubtedly the painting depicting The Embrace between Dominic and Francis, painted by Luca Giordano and helpers.
