Bagnoli Irpino: discovering Monte Cervialto, the peak of Irpinia in the winter version

On Saturday 3 February Bagnoli Irpino will be interested in another beautiful and stimulating excursion: "Monte Cervialto, the peak of Irpinia in winter version". The appointment is at 9.00 am at the "La Lucciola" Bar, on the Laceno plateau.

With the organization of "Il Duomo Trekking" and "Laceno.net", you will climb Cervialto from its gentlest side. An ascent from Piano l'Acernese, passing through Colle del Leone and the Filicecchio forest which for the occasion will be characterized by the colors of the foliage and the spectacular summit ridges. You will reach an altitude of 1809 meters above sea level. and you will enjoy the panorama that can be admired at the summit, ranging from the Tyrrhenian Sea to the Adriatic Sea. We will descend, with some possible variations, to Colle del Leone. Given the likelihood of snow, the use of snowshoes may be required.

The carriers will consist of their own cars, the duration of the excursion is estimated at 6 hours, altitude difference 700 meters, high difficulty. Those over the age of 10 will be able to participate. Return scheduled for 4.00 pm.

Recommended equipment
Backpack, trekking poles and shoes, hat, layered clothing for any temperature and weather condition and everything necessary for a day in the high mountains.
