Wednesday 17 January solemn celebrations in honor of Sant'Antonio Abate in Cesinali. The appointment for the faithful is in Piazza Enrico Cocchia, in the historic center of Cesinali where a large "Focarone" will be set up. A ritual deeply felt by the community which is part of the cult of Sant'Antonio Abate.
According to tradition, the Egyptian hermit fought directly with the devil, descending into hell to steal the fire that animates many squares today.
This year too, animals decked out for the usual blessing of Saint Anthony in the municipality of Irpinia. After the blessing, the possibility of tasting typical Irpinian products around the "Focarone".
