This year, the European Archaeology Days will be held on 14, 15 and 16 June 2024.
This important cultural event, which takes place annually, represents a unique opportunity for the public to discover the treasures of Europe's vast archaeological heritage, thanks to a series of guided tours of excavations and various sites, creative workshops and events accessible to all.
A rare opportunity therefore, not only for enthusiasts, to admire all the richness and beauty of timeless masterpieces through innovative, original and interactive activities.
In Europe, the event is managed by INRAP, the National Institute of Preventive Archaeological Research of France (Institut national de recherches archéologiques préventives), while in Italy, the European Days of Archaeology are organized by the Ministry of Culture - Directorate General for Museums and Directorate.
To spread the knowledge of the archaeological heritage, the Irpino Museum offers a double event dedicated to the goldsmith's art.
Two days of themed activities and guided itineraries to immerse yourself in the glittering world of jewellery by discovering its functions and meanings.
