The European Music Festival is an event that takes place in Caposele during the summer solstice, between 21 and 22 June.
The European Music Festival, a social and cultural phenomenon that originated in France, has now spread to Italy, where no fewer than 280 municipalities have joined an intense network that spans the entire Italian boot, including the community of Caposele. The event aims to enhance the musical and artistic heritage of the area, together with the promotion of the town and its many natural resources. Precisely for this reason, the European Music Festival is held in the Caposele River Park, close to the source of the river and at the same time as thousands of cities throughout the Old Continent.
In addition to a long list of groups, emerging singers and popular celebrities, especially among young people, the European Music Festival has recently captured the attention of the many spectators who came to Caposele for the celebration of a Buddhist wedding near the Sorgenti del Sele (Sele springs). The Music Festival has become a fixed and heartfelt appointment for the whole community, and every year it renews its message of freedom and hope, giving a voice to all the artists and musical genres that enliven the River Park during this two-day event of entertainment and fun.
An event not to be missed by all young people in the province, the European Music Festival is an appointment which, with the arrival of the summer, helps to proclaim Caposele the regional capital of music.
