Beppe Grillo at the Municipal Theater of Lacedonia with "Io sono un Altro"

Two hours of satire, cabaret and irony that will bring back to the stage what was and still is one of the greatest showmen of all time.
Beppe Grillo returns to the theater with his new highly anticipated show "Io sono unaltro", with a double reference to Luigi Pirandello's work "One, nobody and one hundred thousand".
It is not yet clear what Grillo or his alter ego Vitangelo Moscarda, protagonist of Pirandello's novel published in 1926, will bring to the stage.

Beppe Grillo, officially Giuseppe Piero Grillo is an Italian comedian, cabaret artist, politician, blogger and actor. Launched in the world of television in 1977, he achieved great popularity in just a few years, which in the following decade earned him the participation as the protagonist in some comedy films and the role of testimonial in highly successful advertising campaigns. Since the 1990s he has dedicated himself mainly to live shows, monologues on current affairs often with an environmentalist or economic slant.
The beppegrillo.it blog, opened in 2005, was for some years among the most popular Italian websites and one of the most visited blogs in the world. Through the large virtual community of blog readers, Grillo promoted initiatives of great media impact and then he was the inspiration for civic lists that referred to his name. In 2009, with the collaboration of the entrepreneur Gianroberto Casaleggio who was already managing the site, he gave birth to a political movement, the 5 Star Movement, assuming the role of "guarantor" and political leader. In the 2013 political elections he was officially indicated as political leader of the 5 Star Movement.
