The Town of Light of Monteverde is a long, eventful summer programme that welcomes visitors every Saturday from May to September. A weekly appointment, therefore, that welcomes and brightens the evenings of those who decide to spend the summer season in the lush, cool Irpinia.

The village comes alive and literally lights up with lights and scenic effects skilfully created to evoke a suggestive atmosphere that attracts and fascinates visitors. This itinerary is fascinating not only for its visual appeal but also for the pleasures of its gastronomic offerings, rich in typical excellences, such as dairy products and locally produced beer.

The experience of lights and flavours ends in the atrium of the Baronial Castle, the Lombard manor where an exclusive closing event is held: the Baroness of Monteverde, Giovanna Dragoni, awaits her betrothed, who has left for a peace mission in the East.

This is how, among the narrow streets of one of "Italy's Most Beautiful Villages", the inhabitants of Monteverde and the tourists who come to visit are welcomed to spend relaxing summer evenings in the name of hospitality and entertainment.
