Sagra delle Sagre

The Sagra delle Sagre (Festival of the Feasts) is a traditional food and wine event held in Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi every year in November.

Organised by the Pro Loco Upper Irpinia for over twenty years in the alleyways of the historic centre of Sant'Angelo, the event is a sort of review of all the Irpinian festivals, intending to highlight local excellence, from typical local products to artistic and rural handicrafts, from wines to ancient cultural and popular traditions.

The name of the event creates numerous expectations in visitors, promising to be almost the "best" of the festivals or, at any rate, not to be just the "classic" one. In fact, the Sagra delle Sagre is a closing event of the autumn season, which is a much-awaited event in Irpinia and attracts many tourists, combining food and wine, crafts and local cultural traditions. 

The Sagra delle Sagre is one of the most attractive events in the province of Avellino, an opportunity for tasting, taking part in debates and discovering the town and, more generally, the hinterland of Campania.
