Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th August in the historic center of Casalbore is the celebration of lamb and pecorino cheese with "Laticaundo", gastronomic stands will enliven the two evenings which celebrate a symbolic product of the town: the Laticauda breed lamb, raised “Slow Food” presidium in the semi-wild state.
In the small village of Casalbore, Laticauda pecorino is an ancient tradition that is still preserved by some cheesemakers, a niche production creating a dairy treasure with a strong, decisive flavor and fine organoleptic qualities.
